The Department is not only concerned about its student’s entry into the corporate world but also they want them to learn new skills so that they excel in their future careers. I get the opportunity to guide the current batches in NKOCET Mechanical Department. I have recently been associated with Mechanical Engineering Department of NKOCET as a Industry Person in Department Advisory Board. Mechanical Department has the most advanced labs and have received multiple grants for research because of its talented staff. This is the reason why we get so many GATE qualified students from Orchid each year. The staff here is extremely talented and sincere in their efforts. Mechanical Engineering Department has always been the most sought after department in the college. This habit really helped me during my GATE studies. The college even provided us with a Book Bank each semester. Since Solapur university was new back then, textbooks were not available and our teachers insisted that we use reference books. Ours was only second batch yet we never found any scarcity of resources or lab equipment or books. I am very fortunate to be called as a Alumini of NK Orchid College of Engineering and Technology.
